Take some time to explore Eltz Castle and Pyrmont Castle by bike. The tour can be started at Pyrmont Castle or in Karden on the Moselle. An attractive information board on the corner of Kernstraße in Karden shows the complete route of the cycle path.

Route description from Pyrmont Castle:From the medieval P yrmont Castle, a paved path leads towards Roes, past the Pyrmonter Hof to the impressive Schwanenkirche church. Step inside and be impressed by the colorful play of colors - a true experience when the sun's rays shine through the windows of the swan church into the interior and it is illuminated in colorful lights.

The route continues via the idyllic Eifel villages of Möntenich and Pilliger Heck. Follow the cycle path to the fork in the road at the edge of the forest and turn left towards Österhöfe - from here, Eltz Castle can be reached via a 30-minute steep footpath. After the visit, return to the fork at the edge of the forest. The path now leads you on to the Windhäuserhöfe farms and on to Karden.

In Karden, you have the option of following the Moselle cycle path either in the direction of Trier or Koblenz. From Pyrmont Castle, there is a connection to the Maifeld cycle path .
